It all started off when I was a little girl writing letters to my dad- Who by the way lived with me in the same house!

For some reason, I loved writing those letters and he loved reading them even more.

From that point on it was my remedy whenever I experienced sadness, it was my safe zone when I experienced fear and my punching bag when I felt anger. I started journaling and sharing with the paper my everyday life, my experiences, my tears, my ups and my downs.

Until “I grew up” for journaling, and became busy with life, friends, university, with whatever I thought was more important at that point.

And then a year or two later, I lost my best friend, my confident, my inspiration in life, I lost my dad!

This was the moment I went straight back to writing, writing letters for him again, but now the letters were delivered to a different address.

I can truly say that writing was a huge part of my healing process, it was my key to keeping an open line of communication with the one person that I missed the most.

And now, I write because it’s my passion, because it’s what I love, it’s what brings out the godly flow I have inside of me, it’s what helps me grow my mind and my awareness of my emotions and my thoughts.

The Power Within is all of my AHA moments, It’s what I’ve learned and experienced in the journey of self-discovery, the journey of finding my own inner power. Going from a person who was filled with self-doubt, blame, and limitations in almost all areas of my life, to an empowered soul who had finally met the divine within, my own inner space.

This blog is for you to be able to meet your true self for the first time, for you to find the unlimited beauty, love, courage, and freedom you’ve been looking for your entire life. It’s the ultimate reminder to stop looking and just be yourself, love yourself and appreciate yourself, open yourself up to your own inner space where you will find greatness, power, and peace of mind.

This journey changed my life and I’m sure it can change yours.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson
