Dear 2017,

Where do I begin?

I would like to begin by saying thank you! Thank you for accepting me when I was lost, and for giving me enough guidance to find my path.

Thank you for standing beside me when I was scared, and for being there with me when I made friends with my own fears.

Thank you for never judging me when I felt weak, and for applauding me when I discovered my own inner strength.

Thank you for watching my back when I couldn’t see, and for the bright sunlight, you shined down my road when I saw the truth.

Thank you for making me never give up on myself, and for pushing me towards finding my own passion.

Thank you for giving me the gift of possibility, and for giving me the strength to dream as big as I can.

Thank you for all the moments of pure love I felt, and for each moment of genuine connection, I lived.

Thank you for the loud laughs, wild nights and crazy companionships.

Thank you for helping me see the beauty in my imperfections, and in helping me accept those in others.

Thank you for teaching me that all that is new is exciting and that all that is different in unique.

Thank you for giving me the chance to give, and for helping me have an open mind to receive.

Thank you for all those tiny moments when I felt safe and loved, and for all of those moments when I shared this love with others.

Thank you 2017 for coming into my life and preparing me for an even better 2018.

I end this letter by saying I love you, to you, to my husband, to my family and friends and to myself.

To all a happy blissful new year.

“And now we welcome the new year, full of things that have never been”
― Rainer Rilke

Peace & Love,

Sara
