I am a woman, a wife, a daughter, a writer, a blogger, an aspiring thought coach, and a human resource activist.
That’s a lot of labels, right?
Why not just drop the whole thing and call it I’m a human being and a soul, nothing more, nothing less.
What this does is remove the burden of being anything in specific and simply be anything you want and desire to be.
But read closely, this doesn’t mean I don’t like what I said I am at the beginning of this article, it means I don’t feel obligated to be any of these things, instead I feel blessed to have the freedom to choose each and every one of them, every single day.
You don’t have to be anything you don’t want to be just to have a label that provides a certain level of false security. What you choose to be is something bigger than you, something that paves the way for you to expand your potential and live to your highest possible self.
When you drop the perspective of obligation and stop using the language of should and have to, and replace it with I feel like or I want to, it starts to feel more like a choice, you start feeling more freedom and that is when you actually realize that life is not happening to you it’s actually just happening, and that you are the one who chooses how and when to be part of it.
So remember if you don’t want to, you don’t have to.
“Never say yes to anything you can’t say no to.”
